    David Power · 2026

Power enjoyed the quiet island scenery, welcoming hosts, clear markings and twisting forest section. The repeated hills made his time goal harder, and he was disappointed the route did not include the beach. The small event and dinner with other runners left a strong positive impression.

    Source context and limitations

A full-marathon account from February 2026. Power was recovering from Seville Marathon two weeks earlier and describes the race from near the front of a small field. For 2027, the organizer has moved headquarters and the start and finish to Goldie’s/The Roost and describes a revised route with a tide-dependent beach section, so his 2026 dinner, venue and beach observations should not be assumed current. No organizer affiliation or gifted entry was stated.
