    Doug DeWeaver · 2024

Doug expected a larger field for the June Jaunt’s Rochester Runner of the Year status. He enjoyed chatting with another runner early on, was pleased with his finish and liked the chocolate sundae with toppings afterward.

    Source context and limitations

A participant’s June 2024 June Jaunt 5K account, retained as context for the combined West of the River Series. It does not review the Barbecue Bash full marathon or its course. Doug’s assessment of field size, conversation and postrace food belongs to that historical 5K edition; current arrangements can differ. No organizer affiliation is stated.
