A 2023 Xiamen full-marathon finisher enjoyed the coastal setting and enthusiastic crowds. Starting from a rear corral made early pacing difficult; after cramps he alternated running and walking. He used the finish ice pool but skipped stretching because of the queue.
Source context and limitations
Reported format: marathon. Entry came through a GAC Toyota sponsor allocation draw, disclosed by author.
