Rajan was pleased to win on his first visit to the race but disappointed with his time. He said construction around the airport and elsewhere disrupted his pace and prevented the faster finish he had hoped for.
Source context and limitations
A media-selected 2021 full-marathon winner’s assessment from an elite Tribhuvan Army Club athlete who received prize money. Construction and pace effects are his reported experience, not a finding about current roads. The course has changed since then, including a different finish location.
