Mandy Chua · 2026
Chua found a long overnight cheering shift tiring but rewarding: runners waved and smiled back as her group encouraged entrants across the festival's distances. She also appreciated the volunteers' post-event dinner.
Source context and limitations
Perspective: race volunteer; this is not a finisher review. A 2026 cheering volunteer's account, shared publicly on LinkedIn. Chua represented Swinburne University and thanked both the university and organizer, including for an appreciation dinner. Her positive assessment concerns that affiliated volunteer role across a multi-distance festival; it does not establish a marathon finish, runner services or whole-course conditions.
