14 ratings, 3.9 of 5. Reviewers agree it is fast and flat and good for a Boston attempt, with a well-liked stadium finish. Complaints are plain scenery, a lonely rail trail around 32 to 40 km (20 to 25 mi), loose or confusing cutoff handling, and a 2022 heat day when aid had no food and little ice.
“a fast course, mostly flat with no punchy climbs”
- MarathonGuide Glass City Marathon runner reviewsRaced 2026 · aggregator · Positive
I read three of the 15 reviews. One repeat runner has PR'd twice on the flat, spectator-friendly course. A 2024 first-timer liked the first-timer bib and spectators but disliked long straights and little finish food. Another 2024 runner found little support on the bike path, a dull inclined last 6 km (4 mi) and confusing signage.
“A great first marathon experience!”
