Raced 2024 · Reddit athlete race report

    Tone: Positive

The runner stayed across the road from the start and used the pacing group before finishing with a substantial personal best. Late cramps affected their race; they attributed those to their own preparation. This 2024 report predates the newly advertised single-lap course.

Raced 2019 · Reddit athlete race report

    Tone: Positive

The first-time marathoner stayed near the start, used a personal bottle at an aid station and appreciated supporters who remained late. An initial climb, repeated loops and hot later conditions added difficulty. They were proud to finish; the 2019 route and cutoff differ from current arrangements.
