Raced 2024 · Reddit athlete report

    Tone: Negative

Several commenters explicitly identify finishing the May full marathon and independently describe long queues for medals, food or water and a crowded post-race building. Their comments support finish-area concerns. The thread also contains half-marathon experiences, hearsay and discussion of the separate Waterfront race, which are excluded from the full-marathon summary.

Raced 2023 · Reddit athlete report

    Tone: Mixed

The full-marathoner valued the fast course and pacing group but reports scarce start toilets, one large corral, shared-path congestion and a confusing crowded finish. The runner personally obtained water on course; other runners’ water shortages are hearsay rather than his direct experience. This is the May 2023 event.

  • Henrik Hartmann

Raced 2017 · Prospect Park Track Club participant report

    Tone: Positive

Henrik achieved a large personal best on the May full-marathon course and enjoyed a friendly race, city sightseeing and food. Early downhill running helped his pace but taxed his legs later, while strong waterfront headwinds required teamwork. The older GoodLife-sponsored edition does not establish current service quality.
