Reports and event feedback

  • Mira — helpful company, varied obstacles and frustrating failures ↗

Anni Lemmetty / Anni Liikuttaa; participant and event volunteer · 2023

Enjoys completing the race with her sister and the encouragement from staff and other entrants. Describes varied carrying, climbing and water obstacles, while finding several grip obstacles frustrating and some obstacles crowded.

The complete 10 September 2023 first-person account explicitly titles the 9 September Helsinki race. Original author metadata and profile identify Mira; her sister Mia is a companion, not a separate review. The organizer’s 2023 FAQ corroborates Kaisaniemi. Her narrative describes roughly ten-to-eleven kilometres and twenty-nine obstacles, with seventeen completed, seven failed and five skipped: these are performance counts, not ratings or measured course length. Exact class, official result and funding are unstated. She mentions volunteering at bag storage in 2022. Personal health, fears and training details are excluded. No numerical overall.

  • Elina Hovinen — teamwork and an exhilarating finish ↗

    Elina Hovinen / Endorfiinikoukussa · 2014

Enjoys the varied obstacles, help from teammates and strangers, and the sense of achievement at the finish. Notes the absence of kilometre markers and uncertainty about remaining distance without a watch.

The complete original 8 September 2014 account explicitly places her outing at Kaisaniemi with a four-woman Vauhtisammakko team. She joined at a club invitation and promotes the club in the conclusion; entry funding and any other terms are unstated. Her exact raced day, distance and entry class remain unknown, and a reported finishing time is not an overall rating. The article’s yesterday/Saturday chronology is not silently resolved. Companion injuries, health advice and training promotion are excluded. One publication supplies one account, with no numerical overall.

  • Przemek Trakowski — well-organized city course from an equipment partner ↗

Przemek Trakowski / Toroz CEO and event equipment partner · 2023

Praises the event village, staff and varied urban terrain. Enjoys the carrying challenges and water sections, while suggesting that more technical obstacles would appeal to him.

Complete original Toroz publication dated 11 September 2023 and later modified 22 February 2024. The CEO describes his own Helsinki course encounters; the original 2023 FAQ independently identifies Kaisaniemi. Toroz supplies event equipment and discusses continuing the partnership, so this is a commercial partner participant account. Exact entry class, distance, official result and funding are unknown. His professionalism percentage is rhetorical praise, without a stated overall rating scale; no score is inferred. Future plans are not completed attendance.

  • Aaro Huttunen — varied fun obstacles and strong camaraderie ↗

    Aaro Huttunen · 2015

Enjoys the varied obstacles and encouragement between entrants on a rainy outing with friends. Finds most obstacles easier than he expected, with the wet ramp and slippery rope presenting more of a challenge.

Complete original written report explicitly describes his 2015 Helsinki participation, reporting twelve kilometres and twenty-one obstacles. The city’s original 2015 event-grant programme independently identifies the Kaisaniemi start/finish and 5 September race; his exact class and official result are unstated. Four companions are not four independent accounts. His 2018 participation-only video introduction supplies no separately read assessment. Entry funding is unknown; unrelated commercial sidebar content does not establish race sponsorship. Health, injury, training and electrical-obstacle reassurance are excluded. No numerical overall.

  • Raine Pölönen — a tougher and more demanding Kaisaniemi course ↗

    Raine Pölönen / selected interview in a race-partner publication · 2015

Finds the 2015 course markedly harder than the previous year, with longer and more demanding obstacles. Says larger obstacles and wet conditions added to the sustained effort.

The complete relevant article and conclusion on physical page twelve of the original 2 October 2015 issue were read in text and rendered pixels, with its masthead separately verified. It identifies Kaisaniemi and a reported twelve-kilometre, twenty-one-obstacle course; the independently read city programme supplies the 5 September race date. Raine is a National Defence University captain running in the military wave. Author Juha Kylä-Harakka’s publisher, Suomen Sotilasurheiluliitto, is an event partner. The earlier issue says the federation covers four-person military-team entry fees, but whether his own entry was covered is unverified. His reported placement and time are not ratings. His Levi and Helsinki memories are two editions by one athlete, not two independent athletes. Generic writer safety claims, training recommendations and unsupported finisher status for the writer are excluded; no numerical overall.

  • The retained main page headlines 9 September 2023 while also advertising 7 September 2024. The separately read original FAQ explicitly identifies 9 September 2023 and the Kaisaniemi park start area, despite its 2022 upload path. A future Helsinki programme and actual occurrence of the advertised 2024 edition remain unverified.
  • The 2023 participant describes twenty-nine obstacles and a roughly ten-to-eleven-kilometre outing, including penalties. Her completed/failed/skipped obstacle counts are not an overall score or official distance measurement. The 2023 FAQ requires five penalty laps after an unsuccessful obstacle; earlier participant rules differ.
  • The city’s original 2018 announcement independently identifies Kaisaniemi and the Töölönlahti/Eläintarhanlahti surroundings for that year. Elina’s 2014 account explicitly names Kaisaniemi. Older accounts without a resolved property are not automatically joined.
  • The Toroz CEO’s 2023 account is from an equipment supplier and event partner. His professionalism percentage is rhetorical praise, not an overall on a stated rating scale. Athlete and commercial roles, exact classes and unknown funding remain explicit.
  • The original Helsinki event-grant document identifies the 5 September 2015 race, with start and finish on Kaisaniemi park’s gravel field and a route around the nearby bays. Its 2–6 September range includes event operations; it is not a five-day adult race. Aaro’s reported twelve-kilometre course and twenty-one obstacles remain specific to his 2015 account, not 2023.
  • Advertised or participant-reported lengths and obstacle inventories are estimates, not independently surveyed measurements. Historical experiences do not establish an unchanged later course. The checked sources provide no numerical overall for this family.
