  • The next date is unresolved: the park homepage advertises Saturday 17 April 2027 while the federation says Saturday 10 April 2027. The organizer event/race-day pages still describe 18 April 2026. No single confirmed 2027 date is published here.
  • The dated 2026 race-day schedule places 3 km Elite, 10 km Elite/Open/Teams and 5 km Elite/Open/Teams on one Saturday. This differs from generic event-page prose about two days. The 2027 federation advertises 3/5/10 km; unchanged categories, schedule and obstacle counts remain unverified.
  • Nelson Obstacle Park at 1133 Moutere Highway is the race venue. Eddyline Brewery at Champion Road, Richmond is historical race-pack pickup, not the course. The separate Mini 2.5 km is for children; adult supporters are not adult-course entrants.
  • The 2026 Open/Elite rules differ on assistance and penalties. They are historical rules, not a promise for 2027. Park-wide over-fifty-obstacle marketing is not assigned as an exact count to every distance. Earlier Wairua venues and general park visitor ratings are not merged.
