  • The organizer says Winter Warrior ran from 2018 to 2026 and has ended, at least for now. The retained race information explicitly names 28 February 2026 at Särkänniemi, with routes on and beside Lake Näsijärvi and through Kauppi forest. No 2027 event or reopening is confirmed.
  • The competitive Full and Half programmes have individual/team entries and obstacle penalties. Team members may repeat obstacles to help complete their team’s required total; this is not a relay. Fun/Family is untimed with optional obstacles. The programme distinguishes adults, sixteen-year-olds with consent and accompanied ten-to-fifteen-year-olds in Family.
  • The organizer’s own retrospective describes weather-driven adjustments and removed obstacles in 2026, and route-marking problems in the first Tampere edition in 2025. These are organizer observations, not independent athlete ratings or a present-day conditions guarantee. Earlier Ylläs interviews do not automatically establish attendance at Tampere.
  • Advertised or participant-reported lengths and obstacle inventories are estimates, not independently surveyed measurements. Historical experiences do not establish an unchanged later course. The checked sources provide no numerical overall for this family.
