Reports and event feedback
- Mighty Hamptons super sprint: a rewarding but chaotic wet race ↗
Hilary Topper · 2025
The super-sprint entrant highly recommended the event’s course, volunteers and atmosphere despite wet weather. She found the mass swim crowded, experienced choppy water, struggled to locate her transition spot and missed a bike turn.
Source context and limitations
2025 Mighty Hamptons super sprint in Sag Harbor, with a reported 300-yard swim. This is shorter-distance event context; her training partner entered the Olympic race, but she did not review that distance. The author’s own transition and navigation mistakes are not verified organizer faults.
