    Beards and Triathlons · 2024

The Lancaster Tri club member thought the screen-based handover worked well after the swim moved away from the main rowing lake. Wind, rain and long waits made the morning uncomfortable, while a calmer afternoon run and team finish helped make an enjoyable weekend.

Firsthand 2024 relay account by the pseudonymous Beards and Triathlons blogger, racing for Lancaster Tri / COLT. Historical edition: the author reports an algae-related swim relocation and a shorter first-leg run; neither is a claim about the current course. Relay context only, rather than an individual-distance review.

    Craig Boggon · 2016

Boggon enjoyed the team day and found it well organized, but considered his entry poor value. He describes a flat, narrow bike course requiring care when passing, including his own evasive move onto grass, and an enjoyable short run.

Firsthand 2016 relay account by Craig Boggon, racing with Jackpot Racing. Historical course and personal value judgment; old prices do not describe current fees. His equipment mistakes and his expectation about the start time do not establish an organizer error. Relay context only.
