Marathon
Natasha described this as a demanding, emotional home-city marathon. Careful pacing helped her handle Calle del Sol and the Duarte highway, while running where she trained and being surrounded by family made the experience special.
An organizer-selected full-marathon testimonial with no stated edition or publication year. Natasha is presented as the leading local woman and second overall, a podium and home-city perspective. This is not independently verified finisher feedback or an independent review, and it does not establish current course conditions.

Pierre Boussion, reproduced by Rodolphe D. / Triathlon Club Nantais · 2021
Marathon
Pierre found that two laps made the second half predictable. He took water at the regular stations, recovered after a side stitch and struggled with a headwind and slight rise late in the race. He was delighted to finish his first marathon under three hours despite near cramps.
A club-published account of Pierre’s first marathon in 2021. His pacing, wind and two-lap course observations describe that edition; current arrangements may differ.

David (Goal-Oriented Runner) · 2016
Marathon
David found the Arizona trail marathon much tougher than expected: loose dirt, rocks, climbs and cold wind demanded sustained attention. Repeated falls made his race personally difficult. He appreciated being able to reach aid repeatedly and having warm food at the finish.
A 2016 full-marathon account from the Arizona first day of Four Corners Quad Keyah. The author’s falls shaped the experience; diagnoses and treatment are excluded. He did not complete the remaining series days. Current primary offers changed trail loops and a paved alternative, so this is historical trail feedback only.

Tom Britton (published by Tri Talking Sport) · 2022
Marathon
Tom loved the dawn coastal scenery and relaxed, friendly atmosphere of a small field. Water was plentiful, but heat and a second marathon within a week made the later stages difficult. He also described rough roadworks on one stretch of the old course.
A 2022 full-marathon report that also promotes race travel through the author’s Marble City Travel contact, a commercial affiliation. Heat and late fatigue reflect his own race, shortly after another marathon. The East Coast route he describes has since changed: the 2026 organizer lists Bridgetown and the West Coast. Historical traffic and roadworks observations do not establish current conditions.

Mayank Thakur · 2023
Event context · see format details
Mayank found the opening stretch very crowded after starting near the back. Once clear of the crowd, he enjoyed a good race, though running alone made his target pace harder to hold. Water support was adequate for his ten-kilometer effort.
A 2023 ten-kilometer account, not a full-marathon review. Mayank’s employer Akamai sponsored the event and provided his free entry. His views on competitive depth and crowding apply to that shorter race, not the later-starting marathon. The event was renamed in 2026; current route and services may differ.

Leslie Kinrys
