Greg Grosicki · 2017

Greg liked the easy packet pickup and transition setup, calm swim and motivating lead motorcycle. The outward run climbed before a faster return, and he finished delighted with the win.
Historical July 2017 Amesbury DAM Sprint account, distinct from the same post’s Musselman Half. Full leg lengths are unstated. An overall winner’s experience may differ from the wider field. The athlete thanks his sponsored team and equipment brands; no gifted entry is stated. Current course and operations may differ.

Chris Mrdutt, interviewed by Makayla Neinas
Event context · see format details
Chris found his assisted Door County triathlon attempt challenging and was disappointed that he could not finish the swim while pulling family members. He wanted to return and complete it.
A November 2023 myTEAM TRIUMPH interview recalls an assisted Door County attempt; the exact edition year and distance of the unfinished swim are unverified. This is DNF and assisted-team event context, not a full-distance finish. Chris is a board member, and the nonprofit selected this fundraising profile. Current conditions may differ.

Pierre Baudry
Event context · see format details
Baudry enjoyed the rolling-start swim, scenery and atmosphere but found the mountain bike route and exposed run demanding. He praises volunteer organization across two separate transition towns and regards the event as good value.
Firsthand SCO Angers club-member account, visually read from four original report slides in the club’s 2024 season series. Exact race year is not printed. Historical nonstandard L course:1.9 km / 82 km / 19–20 km, with a run-length discrepancy within the slides. Reported temperatures and ascent are not independently measured; no claim that the current route is unchanged.

Dan Egan / The Pickups · 2024
Event context · see format details
Egan enjoyed a memorable day with friends and beat his time goal. On the bike he worried about missing a turn where he saw no markings, but reached the turnaround correctly. The bridge climb made the run demanding.
March 2024 SingerIsland race, advertised400-yard swim/10-mile bike/3.1-mile run. He estimates a shorter swim from his own data; that is not a verified course measurement. Historical event context with empty formats preserves that uncertainty. His missing-marking observation is limited to the stretch he describes, not a current whole-course claim. No race affiliation is disclosed.

Running-Turtle blogger (own entry lists Ralph Klein) · 2024
Sprint triathlon
The blogger enjoyed the race and its organization. He took it relatively easily because nobody else entered his age group, and says he would have preferred direct competition to an uncontested title.
Complete first-person entry dated 14 July 2024 in a longer personal race archive. The assessment concerns that single edition and the writer’s own age group; it does not establish the size or competitiveness of current fields. Unrelated races and personal medical material elsewhere in the archive are excluded.

Roger Thompson · 2007
Event context · see format details
Roger felt his Spring Meadow race went well: he stayed on course in the swim, felt fast on the bike and had a solid run. He was disappointed with his run time but happy overall, comparing the outing with his earlier race there.
A brief personal reflection within an August 2007 season report, concerning the event formerly called Spring Meadow Triathlon. The distance is unstated, so this is historical event-family context rather than a sprint or Olympic review. His self-reported placing was not independently verified. The current HOTri course and arrangements are not established by this older account, and no numerical rating is supplied.

SSF Bonn club writer (unsigned) · 2026

The club’s brief retrospective says the Verl race was demanding in midsummer heat for its three women. This assessment concerns the heat and difficulty of that outing, rather than a stated course distance.
Community opinion; participation and firsthand experience are not established. Brief attributed 2026 club assessment of its women’s Regionalliga race in Verl. The writer’s participation and firsthand experience are not established. Leg lengths are unstated, so it remains community event context; separate Harsewinkel and Hückeswagen accounts on the same page are not transferred.

Swen Kailing (article signature) · 2025

Kailing describes a fast bike circuit with a long gradual climb and good road surface, an ample finish buffet and punctual awards despite wind and rain. The revised paddling circuit was more spectator-friendly but still exposed competitors to crosswinds.
Community opinion; participation and firsthand experience are not established. Attributed 2025 Quadrathlon 4YOU account of the quadrathlon held within PALM’s Offendorf triathlon festival. Writer participation and firsthand experience are not established. This is community event context with an additional paddling leg, not a review of completing the regular triathlon. Lesser is More · 2007
Event context · see format details
The writer describes a challenging lake swim, rocky mountain-bike climbs and descents, and a technical trail run. They praised the course marking, organization and post-race barbecue, and wanted to return.
A complete 2007 XTERRA EX2 participant report. The current organizer explicitly identifies Rocky Gap Off-Road as formerly XTERRA EX2, while also announcing redesigned bike and run courses for 2026. This old full-length off-road account remains historical event context; it is not feedback on the newly added Sprint, an Ironman full distance or current course and food arrangements. The blog author also identifies as a running coach; this is their individual experience.

André Schmidtchen · 2024
Olympic triathlon
Schmidtchen felt comfortable in the non-wetsuit swim and gained places on the bike. He struggled on the cross-country opening section of the run, including a fall, but finished pleased with the organization, atmosphere and refreshments.
Participant-authored 2024 club report with his own detailed quotation. The fall is his reported incident, not proof of a generally unsafe course. Weather, wetsuit rules and terrain observations concern that edition.
Antracis (displayed forum name) · 2022
Olympic triathlon
Antracis found the windy, wavy swim manageable and enjoyed the rolling bike course, although traffic briefly slowed him. The rooty, sandy forest run required care, and he finished happy with his performance.
Complete first-person forum race report posted 10 July 2022. The historical Olympic bike was reported as 37 km. Traffic, wind and footing reflect that edition; the displayed pseudonym does not establish an independently verified identity.
Nic Rohmann · 2026
Event context · see format details
Rohmann praises the registration, marshals and generous finish refreshments. His report identifies him as returning to triathlon after a long break and completing the festival’s MTB-Sprint.
Participant-authored 2026 club report covering both festival races. Rohmann entered the MTB-Sprint, so his feedback remains event context and is not assigned to the road Olympic race. The article URL mentions Spreewald, but its complete title, body and date explicitly identify Schlaubetal / Müllrose.

Brad / Pace Of Mind · 2011

Brad recommends the race and appreciated the spaced swim start and residents’ enthusiastic cooling and cheering support. He disliked the lake water, found the bike headwind and hot run demanding, and noted missing run mile markers.
Historical 1,000-meter swim, 20-mile bike and four-mile run. These are the longer race’s approximate dimensions, not today’s Sprint. Water appearance, heat, signage and support describe that day; they establish no current water-quality or safety finding. No organizer affiliation is stated.

Melissa Difulco Tassin
Event context · see format details
Melissa described a hot, hilly Sunrise race in Shreveport. She enjoyed the rolling bike course more than the run.
A complete original public athlete caption names Sunrise Triathlon in Shreveport and describes her own age-group result. The post displays July 12, and the complete loaded comments have literal July 12–13, 2026 timestamps, matching the current July open-water event rather than the separate April pool race. The raced edition and entered distance are not explicitly stated, so both remain unknown. This is her personal experience of that historical race, not a claim about current weather, course conditions or every division. Ten loaded comments were read for context; the full 46-comment thread and photo pixels were not read.

Aurelie · 2015
Event context · see format details
Aurelie found the lake clear and calm but struggled to sight distant buoys and exit over rocks. She describes an initial bike climb, demanding descents, a hot climb back and a windy plateau, followed by steep exits from the crater on each run lap. She was pleased with her finish and notes her watch measured the run short.
2015 Lac du Bouchet M account by Aurelie, a Tryssingeaux club member. The race had a 1.5 km swim; the run was advertised as 10 km but her watch measured about 8.5 km. That is an athlete measurement, not a certified distance. Start delays and route observations belong to this historical edition; the current festival also offers other formats.
