Browse 8,166 race listings and athlete ratings. Explore triathlons, half marathons, marathons, ultras and obstacle races, including races we haven’t rated yet.
New listings are checked against organizer and registration pages. Race reports and feedback are linked even while a race is awaiting a full rating. Each account reflects its author, edition and race format. Past editions stay labeled until a new date is listed.
A 2019 Millennium Meadows participant found repeated loops helpful for pacing and achieved a personal best. He wanted toilets nearer the back of the loop and enjoyed the finish beer. Exact own distance was not stated.
Reported format: unknown. The race distance is unknown.
Andy particularly enjoyed the wooded, winding stretch between Lake Monroe Park and Gemini Springs, describing it as worth returning to for a short ride.
Perspective: course preview outside the race; race-day execution is not established. Outside-race cycling perspective from February 2017, limited to a shared public-trail section. The Gemini Springs Labor Day 4-Day Challenge explicitly uses the Spring-to-Spring trail in this area. Andy’s much longer ride also used roads and other trails; this is not a review of the race, its full route, repeated laps, support or present conditions. The same underlying account provides context for three registrations that use this trail.
Holly withdrew after an early foot injury but found watching the remaining competitors deeply inspiring. She describes demanding carries and repeated strength tasks that tested both physical and mental resilience.
A 2013 DNF account of Joe Decker’s Ultimate Suck, followed by firsthand observations of other competitors. This is historical obstacle/strength-event context; it does not establish a continuous foot-ultra distance or a current finish. Her qualifier win earned a free entry.
Cruz enjoyed the mountain views and appreciated the regular aid stations at a small event. The steep early descent encouraged a pace he later found unsustainable, and subsequent climbs were harder than the net-downhill profile suggested. Finishing and supporting a friend's first marathon made the day meaningful.
A 2021 full-marathon report on coach Ian Cruz's commercial website, including a UCAN referral discount and extensive nutrition promotion. That commercial context is disclosed; product and medical claims are excluded here. Personal early pacing shaped the appraisal. Historical course and aid observations do not confirm current arrangements.
Miranda enjoyed cool, shaded parts of the course and running with a friend. She slowed in the final 10 miles after a heavy training week but still found the race fun.
Miranda Bachman’s brief personal 2022 full-marathon log. Self-reported and not independently verified. Historical autumn edition used as ultra training. The current primary advertises a new finish at McMillin Farm Collective, so old course and finish details are not assumed to continue.
In a 2022 hiking account, rick0427 describes the ascent on McKinney Roughs’ Bluff Overlook Loop as the steepest climb of that outing. The writer enjoyed the broader hike and wanted to return.
Perspective: course preview outside the race; race-day execution is not established. Historical outside-race hiking context from a 2022 account. The current organizer explicitly names Bluff Overlook among its trails, but the hiker’s exact approach and the race’s full route are not equated. “Steepest” compares parts of that personal outing, not the marathon’s climbs. Overall enjoyment concerns the broader hike, not every race segment. This does not assess race services, current conditions or marathon participation. The complete original reader was retained before a later access refusal.
Sean Anderson described a 2009 power walk around Boomer Lake on its continuous paved sidewalk as both enjoyable and unusually hard because of the intense heat that day.
Perspective: course preview outside the race; race-day execution is not established. Historical outside-race course context from an August 2009 walk around Boomer Lake. The current mapped race uses part of the same paved lakeside circuit, repeated to reach race distance. His difficult heat experience applies only to that old summer day and is not a forecast or typical race condition. This does not review the current route’s full distance, surface, aid or organization. No race-organizer affiliation is stated.
After helping an injured friend leave the course, the runner appreciated fellow runners and race support allowing them to continue. Catching the checkpoints and finishing in about10h30 felt rewarding; the final steep descent was especially demanding.
Micah found the repeated mild gradients harder than the flat-course description suggested. They were dissatisfied with informal wave starts, a split display they found unhelpful, and inconsistent water handoffs. Pedestrians on the open course also interrupted their run.
One 2022 marathon review on a commercial comparison site. Its complaints describe that edition’s starts, timing display, aid and shared course. Current organizer information advertises chip splits and revised wave arrangements; this account does not establish whether those services now work differently. No organizer affiliation is stated.
