    Cassandra Lewis

    Marathon

Cassandra described a hilly course with good aid stations. For her first full marathon, she welcomed the brief rests required at road intersections.

A full-marathon review posted in February 2022; the race year is not stated. The containing event listing refers to April 2021, but that does not establish her edition. The older listing starts at Boss Dog Brewery in Cleveland Heights; the current event starts elsewhere and the route has changed, so hills, aid and intersection stops describe her historical experience. Paul Monaghan · 2019

    Marathon

Paul recommended the coastal scenery, torch ceremony and festive finish for a relaxed marathon trip. Traffic increased during the second half despite helpful marshals, and merging with shorter-distance walkers made the finish congested. Late hills and heat added to the challenge.

A 2019 full-marathon club report by Paul Monaghan, published by an administrator for Reading Roadrunners. He deliberately ran gently and took photographs with his partner ahead of another marathon. Traffic, congestion and ceremonies describe that edition; personal travel and restaurant arrangements are not included race services.

    Pernilla Bredolt · 2025

    Marathon

Pernilla liked the old-town section but found other stretches dull and the second lap quiet. Cold wind made her uncomfortable, and she disliked the water’s taste. She was pleased with her strong 3:42 finish but disappointed to receive a half-marathon shirt after full-marathon sizes ran out.

    Jeremy (MTB-NJ forum) · 2024

Event context · see format details

Historical participant context from the 2024 Radsport cross-country mountain bike race at Forever Farm, an earlier name and discipline of the current Fifth Street Rock Monster weekend. This is not a running or marathon review. The 2027 running course and present conditions may differ. Event context · see format details

Producer Gabe Lloyd was proud of how his team handled minor problems during the Rock Monster weekend before they became larger issues. He described a strong mountain-bike day and said the team still had lessons to learn on the running side.

Perspective: event staff; this affiliated account is not an independent participant review. Affiliated staff perspective from the event’s producer, Gabe Lloyd of Long Tail Productions. The runner was happy to complete a first marathon but found the second half much harder as the heat increased. Conditions prevented the pace they had hoped to sustain.
